Ask Better Questions To Help Your Player Improve
Try not to ask questions that are impossible to answer – or that leave no opportunity for a good answer. If you ask, “Why do you keep doing that?” What kind of answer can you expect to get: “I guess I’m just no good”? That type of question doesn’t really leave a good way out. Here’s a way to help your player improve by asking better questions.
A more productive question would be, “What would be a better way to do that?” or “How can we make an improvement when doing that?” These are engaging questions that will help your player find ways to improve his or her game. Always try to ask engaging questions that will help your player discover the answer on their own.
